CPC Training International Road haulage Main features in Belgium The CPC training objectives are fixed by the European Regulation No 1071/2009; Each objective has its own manual and course duration; The total course amounts to a total of 28 manuals consisting of 116 hours course; The main features of the CPC training in Belgium are that The CPC training objectives are fixed by the European Directive; Each objective have its own manual and course duration; The total course amounts to a total of 28 manuals consisting of 116 hours of course; The candidates are obliged to follow the complete course as there are no exemptions for experience and other diploma’s and they need to be present in the course. For the moment there is no long distance or computer based training avaiable. Evolution of the number of candidates for CPC-courses
Le nombre de participants aux cours de capacité professionnelle pour le transport de marchandises et le transport de personnes est resté plus ou moins stable au cours de ces 5 dernières années. Ces cours étaient suivis par candidats en 1999, nombre qui correspond à la population d’une grande institution traditionnelle d’enseignement. Ce nombre va vraisemblablement encore augmenter étant donné que les transporteurs qui, jusqu’à présent, pouvaient effectuer du transport dans l’ensemble du Benelux grâce à leur autorisation de transport national ne pourront plus avoir accès aux territoires néerlandais et luxembourgeois En effet, à partir de cette année, le Luxembourg exige une licence de transport communautaire tandis que les Pays-Bas vont également adopter cette mesure à partir du 1er janvier 2001. Par conséquent, les chauffeurs qui seraient uniquement en possession d’un certificat de capacité professionnelle pour le transport national, devront suivre les cours complémentaires et passer l’examen afin d’obtenir le certificat de capacité professionnelle pour le transport international. 17/01/2019

CPC-examination International Road haulage Main features: The examination jury is nominated by the Minister for a term of 3 years. The examination is recently adapted to the new regulation. The examination involves 3 compulsory tests: written theory, written exercices and an oral examination The Institute offers also logistic support at the examination jury which is nominated by the Minister of Transport to organise the CPC-examination two times a year. The candidate need to pass first of all a written examination consisting of multiple choice questions, open questions and case studies on 5 objectives, like driving and resting times, costing,accounting, social law and finance techniques; When he succeeds, he is invited for an oral examination where his knowlegde is required of all other objectives. At the day of the examination, he is only tested by 4 members of the jury elected by lottery and each asking questions on several objectives; The passing conditions are 50 % for each objective and 60% in total, repassing is allowed. 17/01/2019

CPC-examination International Road haulage Main features The examination jury is nominated by the Minister for a term of 3 years. First of all the candidate needs to pass a written examination theory and a written examination exercices both on 6 subjects, like driving and resting times, costing, accounting, social law and finance techniques. If the candidate succeeds for the two written parts, he is invited to the oral examination taking place three weeks later. All remaining subjects have to be studied, but the candidate will be examined in a limited number of subjects only. These are picked by chance on the day of the exam. The Institute offers also logistic support at the examination jury which is nominated by the Minister of Transport to organise the CPC-examination two times a year. The candidate need to pass first of all a written examination consisting of multiple choice questions, open questions and case studies on 5 objectives, like driving and resting times, costing,accounting, social law and finance techniques; When he succeeds, he is invited for an oral examination where his knowlegde is required of all other objectives. CPC-examination International Road haulage Main features A candidate passes when he obtains: at least 50 % for the three tests (written theory, written exercices and oral examination) AND at least 60 % overall Due to the new rules the pass rate has rised from about 40 % to 50 % ! The Institute offers also logistic support at the examination jury which is nominated by the Minister of Transport to organise the CPC-examination two times a year. The candidate need to pass first of all a written examination consisting of multiple choice questions, open questions and case studies on 5 objectives, like driving and resting times, costing,accounting, social law and finance techniques; When he succeeds, he is invited for an oral examination where his knowlegde is required of all other objectives.
