1 Middle East Power Point

2 Morocco (My) Morocco is located in Northwest Africa below Mediterranean  Sea. It is My in My Aunt Tonya Loves Elephants. To the right of it is the Atlantic Ocean and to left is Algeria. Also, the capital is Tangier, and it is in northern Morocco.

3 Algeria (Aunt) Algeria is in Northwest Africa and under the Mediterranean Sea. It is Aunt in My Aunt Tonya Loves Elephants. To the right of Algeria is Libya, to the left is Morocco, and southwest of it is Tunisia. Also, the capital of Algeria is Algiers, located in northern Algeria.

4 Tunisia (Tonya) Tunisia is in the North of Africa and is very small compared to the other states in the Middle East. It is right above Algeria and Libya. Directly above it is the Mediterranean Sea, and the capital is Tunis in the northern part of Tunisia. It is Tonya in My Aunt Tonya Loves Elephants.

5 Libya (Loves) Libya is to the east of Algeria and to the west of Egypt. It is in northern Africa and below the Mediterranean Sea. It is Loves in My Aunt Tonya Loves Elephants. Also, the capital is Tripoli and it is in the Northwest part of Libya.   

6 Egypt (Elephants) Egypt is in northern part of Africa and to the east.  It is to the west of the Sinai Peninsula and to the east of Libya. It is below the Mediterranean Sea. The capital is Cairo, located in northern Egypt. It is My in My Aunt Tonya Loves  Elepha nts. 

7 Israel Israel is located in southwest Asia and is North of Egypt and the Red Sea. It is also to the south of Lebanon and to the east of the Mediterranean Sea. It is to the west of Jordan and the capital is Jerusalem which is in the middle of Israel. Also, the West Bank is in the middle of Israel and to the east.

8 Jordon Jordon is in Southern Asia and to the west to Saudi Arabia. The Dead Sea is on the border and so is the Jordon River. Jordan is also to the east of Israel and to the south of Syria. Then the capital of Jordan is Amman and it is in northern Jordan.

9 Lebanon Lebanon is in Southern Asia. It is also to the west of Syria, and is to the east of the Mediterranean Sea. The capital of Lebanon is Beirut. Also, to the north of Israel and it is a narrow nation next to the Mediterranean Sea.

10 Cyprus Cyprus is in Southern Asia. It is an island in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. The capital is Nicosia.

11 Iraq Iraq is in Southern Asia and to the east of Syria. It is to the west of Iran and to the north of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The Tigris and Euphrates River also passes through Iraq. The Persian Gulf is southeast of Iraq too.

12 Iran Iran is in southern Asia and it to the east of Iraq. To the left of Iran is Afghanistan, Pakistan, and some of Turkmenistan. Then to the north of Iran there is Turkmenistan and the Caspian Sea. Then the Persian Gulf , Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Omen is to the South. Then the capital of Iran is Tehran and it is in Northern Iran.

13 Afghanistan Afghanistan is in southern Asia and above Pakistan. Then Afghanistan is below Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. Also, the Islamic Republic Iran is to the west of Afghanistan. Then the capital of Afghanistan is Kabul.  

14  Syria Syria is in southern Asia and is to the east of Lebanon and Mediterranean Sea. Then to the north of Syria is Turkey and to the west of Iraq. Then to the south of Syria is Jordan and the capital is Damascus. Damascus is in the south of Syria, close to Lebanon.

15 Turkey Turkey is in southern Asia and it is above the Mediterranean Sea. To the east of Turkey is Iran, Armenia, and Azer. Then to the north of Turkey is the Black sea, Bulgaria, and Georgia. Then to the west of Turkey is Greece and the Aegean Sea. The capital of Turkey is Ankara and it is in the middle of Turkey. Also, the Euphrates and the Tigris river comes through here, but this is where the Tigris river ends.

16 Kuwait Kuwait is in southern Asia right below Iraq. To  the right of Kuwait is the Persian Gulf and some of Saudi Arabia is to the south of Kuwait. Then to the north of Kuwait is Iraq. Then Kuwait's capital is Kuwait City which is in the eastern side of Kuwait.

17 Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia is in Southern Asia and to the east of Saudi Arabia is the Persian Gulf, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. Then to the west of Saudi Arabia is the Red Sea. To the south of Saudi Arabia is Yemen, and Oman. Above Saudi Arabia is Iraq, Jordan, and Kuwait. Then the capital of Saudi Arabia is Riyadh which is in the eastern part of Saudi Arabia.

18 Bahrain Bahrain is in southern Asia and is a little island in the Persian Gulf. To the west of Bahrain is Saudi Arabia and some of the Persian Gulf. Then to the east of Bahrain is Qatar and the rest of the Persian Gulf. Also, to the south of Bahrain is the gulf of Bahrain. The capital of Bahrain is Manama and it is in northern Bahrain.

19 Qatar Qatar is in southern Asia and it sticks out of the Saudi Arabia section under Bahrain. 2 sides Qatar is in the Persian Gulf and it is above the United Arab Empires. To the west of Qatar is the Gulf of Bahrain and to the east of Qatar is the Persian Gulf. The capital of Qatar is Doha and it is located to  the east of Qatar.

20 United Arab Emirates The United Arab Empires is  in Southern Asia and is to the east of the United Arab Empires is the Strait of Hormuz. Then to west of the United Arab Empires is Saudi Arabia. Then to the north of the United Arab Empires there is the Persian Gulf. Then to the south of the United Arab Empires is Oman. The capital of the United Arab Empires is Abu Dhabi and it is in the northeastern part of the United Arab Empires.

21 Oman Oman is in Southern Asia and it is to the west of the Arabian Sea. To the north of Oman there is the Gulf of Oman. Then to the west of Oman is Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Also, to the south of Oman is Yemen. The Capital is Muscat and it is in the northern part of Oman.

22 Yemen Yemen is in southern Asia and it is to the north of the Gulf of Aden. To the North of it is Saudi Arabia and to the west of it is the Arabian Sea. Then to the west of Yemen is the Red Sea and the capital is Sanaa. It is located in the western part of Yemen.

23 Euphrates River The Euphrates River Starts at Turkey and then it runs through Syria and Iraq. Then at the end of Iraq it conjoins with the Tigris River making the Shatt Al Arab river running into the Persian Gulf.

24 Jordon River The Jordan River Runs through the border of Jordon and            connects the Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee. Also, it run through the border of the West Bank.

25 Tigris River The Tigris river starts in Turkey and runs through Iraq and it comes together with the Euphrates river making the Shatt Al Arab River in Iraq. Then the Shatt Al Arab river runs into the Persian Gulf.

26 Suez Canal The Suez Canal separates a small part of Egypt from the Sinai Peninsula. Also, it connects the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea, and it is a manmade waterway.

27 Persian Gulf The Persian Gulf is bordered by Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, The United  Arab Empires, Qatar, and the Strait of Hormuz. Then Bahrain is an island that is in the Persian Gulf. Also the Shatt Al Arabia river dumps into the Persian Gulf.

28 Strait of Hormuz The Strait of Hormuz is bordered by the Persian Gulf, United Arab Emirates, Iran, and the Gulf of Oman. Then the Strait of Hormuz also has some islands in it. Then the Gulf of Omen is to the east.

29 Arabian Sea The Arabian Sea is to the north of the Indian Ocean and to the west of the Arabian Sea is the Red Sea, Oman, Yemen, and Somalia. Then to the east of the Arabian Sea is India and Sri Lanka, and to the north of the Arabian Sea is the Gulf of Oman.

30 Red Sea The Red Sea is bordered by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Yemen, Eritrea, and the Gulf of Aden. Then the Red Sea also splits into two Gulfs, the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba.
