1 Title: Mr. Santoro Gets Delayed
Name Date Science Class Title: Mr. Santoro Gets Delayed Mr. Santoro was looking forward to a seminar in New Jersey over the summer break. He decided to drive there, and allowed two hours travel time to arrive by 9:00am. After leaving the house, it took him 10 minutes to get to the nearest Dunkin’ Donuts, which was 5 miles away, for his coffee. There was a delay at the drive-up window which cost him 10 minutes. Once back on the road, Mr. Santoro made good time. He traveled 50 miles to the turn-off exit in 60 minutes. Unfortunately, there was an accident on the exit ramp, which stalled traffic for another 15 minutes. Finally, Mr. Santoro drove the last 5 miles to his destination in 20 minutes.
