In MBA projects, they focus on business problems -- and resolutions -- that concern them most. Course design and projects prepare them for greater responsibilities in their career field. Professional Studies Program: Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Early Childhood Education Earn a Bachelor Liberal Arts in Early Childhood Education The Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Early Childhood Education program is designed to meet the needs of adults in early childhood environments who want to complete a bachelor’s degree with or without teacher certification. The program includes an extensive study including a balance of coursework that reflects education theory with real classroom experiences applied in the early childhood settings, culminating with a mentored internship at the conclusion of the program. Education degree was developed to accommodate the needs of working professionals by offering classes in convenient evening formats. 2 Tuition Professional Studies Program (PSP) degrees at the School of Graduate and Professional studies are among the most affordable in the Washington Metropolitan Area. MPA Tuition per semester hour: $400.00 Per course (3 hours): $1,200.00 Per semester (6 hours): $2,400.00 Student Services Fee: $275.00 Students seeking assistance through federal student aid programs should apply for aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, which can be found at Admissions Requirements To be admitted to the Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Early Childhood Education program, applicants must meet the following requirements. • At least 20 years old with experience in a K-12 environment. • At least 56 semester credit hours with a minimum of a 2.0 GPA. • Completion of a School of Graduate and Professional Studies application and payment of a $50 nonrefundable application fee. • Official transcripts from any college or university attended. Admission to the Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Early Childhood Education program is open every 7 weeks.
