They are looking for students who perform well academically and takes challenging courses
For example AP courses, honors courses and community college classes
They are also looking for students that are involved in their school community through clubs and organizations

Open a new google document on your Gertz gmail and label it: Name: My UC goals
Complete goals for the 3 areas
University goal: Select ONE UC campus that you may be interested in applying in senior year: YOU CAN NOT PICK UCLA (lets explore the others
Academic goals: Refer to your 4 year academic plan and look to see if your four year plan looks like any of the transcripts that we saw for each campus. If it does not, make a list of the classes that you need to add to be able eligible for the UC campus you selected
Extracurricular goals: List the activities you are currently involved at Gertz or outside of Gertz. If you do not have any then plan to become involved in some activities by listing them 18
