Readers’ Instructions
Step 1 – Staple your last Intensive Week’s assignments together, but keep them in your folder. Step 2 – Update your T.O.C. with the T.O.C. poster.
Step 3 – Complete the “purpose” and “preview” portions of your P.P.A.R.R. bookmark.
Step 4 – Read and annotate as you read. Be sure to circle unfamiliar words. Using context clues, define the vocabulary terms located in the margins.
Step 5 – Answer ALL PARTS of the reading response questions as you read. They are on various pages.
Step 6 – Using complete sentences, complete Day 1 (all three parts) on the Close Reading chart.
