Language Arts /30/17 Readers’ Instructions Step 1 – Staple your last Intensive Week’s assignments together, but keep them in your folder. Step 2 – Update your T.O.C. with the T.O.C. poster. Step 3 – Complete the “purpose” and “preview” portions of your P.P.A.R.R. bookmark. Step 4 – Read and annotate as you read. Be sure to circle unfamiliar words. Using context clues, define the vocabulary terms located in the margins. Step 5 – Answer ALL PARTS of the reading response questions as you read. They are on various pages. Step 6 – Using complete sentences, complete Day 1 (all three parts) on the Close Reading chart.

Language Arts /30/17 Writers’ Instructions Step 1 – Staple your last Intensive Week’s assignments together, but keep them in your folder. Step 2 – Update your T.O.C. with the T.O.C. poster. Step 3 – Complete the “Before Reading” parts (1 & 2) on page 170. Step 4 – Read and annotate as you read. Follow all parts of “During Reading” on p. 171 (3 & 4). Be sure to write notes in the margins. Step 5 – Answer ALL PARTS of the “After Reading” (4 & 5, and the chart).

S.T.E.A.M.– E.L.T /30/17 Severe Weather Challenge! Turn in your “Deadliest Tornadoes” sheet from Thursday. We will be back in the L.M.C. Mon.-Wed. of this week, using the green screens. Your completed project must be finished and submitted no later than Friday of this week. This includes your packet and any videos, PowerPoints, or other projects you may have created. See me if you are unsure of how to submit your project.
