What is Luminis Portal?
A “one stop shop” for online information and services; an online service-oriented environment
A way to target info & services based on a user’s roles
A Web portal product from Sungard Higher Education, currently in version 4.0
“WebStar 2.0”

Unified Development Platform for student services
Single Sign-on for district web resources
Enhanced communication with students via Targeted Communication

10. Where are we at?
Communications – Inventory of communication methods. PIOs working on branding strategy.
Content – “Must have” and “nice to have” features identified and grouped according to roles.
Training – Reserving rooms on campus for training in September, October.
Accessibility – Mostly OK, some things to improve.
Technical – Installing production environment within next month

11. Go live date: November 13 In time for Spring registration
