2 Crosswalk Process In TGPS, the service member will develop a MOC gap analysis that will help identify the skills they have, compared with the skills they need, to obtain the civilian career they desire

3 Gap Analysis Main tool for the MOC Crosswalk is the Gap Analysis
Once completed it will provide a visual presentation of the “Gaps” in Education, Experience and Credentials

O*NET Interest Profiler 60 questions about your skills, interests and abilities Search by keywords Browse by Careers or industry Find careers like you military job

6 Identify Requirements
Experience and skills the job requires Education and training Credentials (licenses, certifications, apprenticeships)

7 Explore the Labor Market Information (LMI)
Understand today’s complex workforce Explore civilian occupations based on employment levels and trends Make informed career decisions National, state and local employment statistics, job forecasts, wages, and demographics

8 Document the Gap What do I need to fill the gap? Experience and Skill
Education and Training Credentials (license, certifications, apprenticeships)

10 Summary The MOC Crosswalk will help the service member:
