3 The plot of The Last Song is logical and believable
The plot of The Last Song is logical and believable. Now a days, it’s normal for parents to be divorced and the children to particularly blame one of the parents. When Ronnie goes to her fathers house for the summer, it makes sense that she would rebel against him because of their family issues. It makes sense that she would mostly be on the beach with people she barely know than to be with her “cheating father.” Every year, 7.6 million people die of cancer. So it is logical for her father to have cancer. This whole movie is believable. The only thing that didn’t seem logical would be the love story between Ronnie and Will, it seemed kind of forced for the story. But eventually, that smoothed out. It is all logical to me. Her father simply wanted to spend time with her and her brother before he died.
