Introduction 3 Paragraphs
The first part of the introduction should set up the topic being investigated by providing background information on it Clearly explaining exactly what you are testing.   Explain the significance of the topic. How does this topic relate to the world of science? Why is this experiment topic important? Why is your experiment important?

Procedure This is a numbered step by step process of how you conducted your experiment. Include the timeline (how long it took) as well as the number of subjects tested or used.

Materials Bullet point list of what you used to complete your experiment.

Results This is the middle of your science fair board and the part that will ultimately Determine your grade. You should include the following: Clear and relevant title Your Hypothesis in the form of a question A data table that clearly shows your results. * remember, all measurements must be metric! (cm, cm3, grams, Liters, etc) Graphs or charts to support your data Photos or diagrams that show your experimental process Actual display of key components of your experiment (only needed on the day your project is displayed)

Analysis A data analysis is where you discuss and interpret the data collected from your project and explain whether or not it supports your hypothesis. The analysis may discuss mistakes made while conducting the experiment or ways in which the project could be improved in the future.

Conclusion Summarize your science fair project results in a few sentences and use this summary to support your conclusion. Include key facts from your background research to help explain your results as needed. State whether your results support or contradict your hypothesis.
