What is the difference between 15Ga and 16Ga users?
15Ga users believe that the 15Ga nail has a higher holding power than the 16Ga nail and they use it mostly for heavy applications. They think that the “real head” of the 15Ga nail provide better holding power. Sometimes 15Ga users will utilize their 15Ga nailer only for heavy applications and the 18Ga for medium and light applications.
Users either carry 15Ga or 16Ga nails, never both.
Both the 15Ga user and the 16Ga user carry an 18Ga nailer for light applications that require less holding power.
15Ga users are not concerned about the higher price of 15Ga nails.
