Abstract
This document proposes a Fast Transition Information Request/Report mechanism for the current AP to advertise its neighbor TAPs’ service and policy information.
The purpose of the Transition AP Report is to assist a TSTA to decide which transition mechanisms to use.

Motivation
TGr proposes the Transition Resource IE (TRIE) with 17 octets, Transition Security IE (TSIE) with 48 octets, Key Holder IE (KHIE) with (16*n) octets, to enable the advertisements
Avoid off-channel scan to get this static information in probes.
TSTA benefits from this information even before scanning
Including such long length IEs in Beacon frame will overburden Beacon frame.

Current AP to advertise the Transition Policy and Service Information elements: TRIE, TSIE, KHIE, for
Its neighbor APs, or
A specific target TAP, as per TSTA request
Current AP can send the Fast Transition Report autonomously or as a response to a TSTA’s request
Two approaches:
Option #1: TGr extends TGk’s Neighbor Report to support this feature
Option #2: TGr defines new Action frames for Fast Transition Information Request and Fast Transition Information Report
