2 Vocabulary Survey- a set of questions designed to collect data.
Population- the people involved in the survey (specific group) Random Sample- to choose a population without preference (not selecting for a specific reason)

If there are 480 students in TVMS. How many would we expect to be wearing jeans today? Is this a random sample? (are all groups being considered equally) What % of the population are we? Is it a big enough sample? If I survey the students in Mr. Kanavel’s room, how close do you think the estimate would be to ours?
