3. The Chateau
The château was fully restored in 1990 when it was also converted into a charming hotel/restaurant. An extension was built to complete the Hotel with its beautifully renovated 33 bedrooms, with en-suite bathroom and hydro massage shower, of which 25 are found at the heart of the chateau and its wing. A restaurant welcoming 80 people, a room in the wing of the château, suitable for weddings and seminars, for up to 250 people. Several lounge areas. Bar with sitting area. Fully fitted and modern independent kitchen for the important occasions. A vaulted cellar with spa/Jacuzzi, sauna and fitness room.

9. Outside
Outside is a spacious terrace, fitness trail, 2 tennis courts and golf course. A second building houses the guardian's apartment, office, fully equipped linen room and two bedrooms which meet disabled person standards. On the first floor are 6 bedrooms with private terrace. The second floor has staff bedrooms. The third building has pool snack bar, bar/kitchen, restaurant and disabled toilet and shower.

11. Bedrooms
The King’s Bedroom was named after Henri IV and Catherine de Medicis who stayed there. It has a superb fireplace in white marble, with scenes of a striking relief, in the style of the famous Ecole de Fontainbleau. The bedroom of the Duke is in perfect symmetry to the King’s Bedroom and has a superb fireplace in pink marble. There are two apartments situated at each end of the building on this floor comprising 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

13. Location
Running along the Vézère valley, the château is situated near all the tourist centers, but at the same time is in a peaceful and calm area, surrounded by 20 hectares of land (animal park, prairie and forest), in the heart of the Black Périgord, close to Sarlat/Brive and the Caves of Lascaux only 3 km away.
