8 How does bbRad achieve this?
Cypher IT Ltd How does bbRad achieve this? Query for local patient identifier – by nhs no or demographics Wear order comms ‘hat’ to generate order – creates folder to drop images into Update dicom header & send to PACS – wearing modality ‘hat’ – doubele archvie to DC Generate update message with report to send report into RIS (which then cascades into PACS)

9 Where? Cypher IT Ltd Portsmouth (Queen Alexandra)
Ortho shared across Royal Hospital Haslar Wave 1 ISTC from Mercury Healthcare MDTs from Chichester Southampton (Southampton General) Referrals incl emergency neuro from Guernsey Neuro from Chichester Mercury link live this month Haslar for just over 1 year – over 30,000 examinations. At 20 mins per CD = 10,000 man-hours saved Auto-reports already, report feed switched on next quarter Chichester is new - awaiting confirmation from CfH whatever that means? Southampton took basic functionality – without RIS interfacing Guernsey – live for 2 months – low volume – 50 studies per month Chichester is new

12 Summary Cypher IT Ltd It is available now
It does what it says on the tin Users like it -----Original Message----- From: Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust.neuroreg Sent: 15 February :52 To: Subject: replacing imlink I just wanted to feedback that we have started receiving images from Guernsey through PACS. This is far superior to the imlink not only because it is far more user friendly and one less system to fail, but much more importantly because it is accessible from any terminal and hence n theatre the place it is needed most and the images are much more versatile (we can identify which slice is which on the scout views which previously meant it was impossible to assess the level).
