3. Improving Student Achievement Through School-Family-Community Partnerships
Through a joint agreement with the State Department of Education, Middletown will receive support from the Connecticut School-Family Community Partnerships Project (SFCP Project). The SFCP Project selected three districts with a high level of readiness to participate in a new pilot program. Middletown was chosen because of its commitment to the partnership approach, its prior experience with school-level action teams, and because of its Family Resource Centers and other existing structures on which to build success.
