1 Lady! Lady! My Shoes Don’t Match!
(A Rap) Lady! Lady! My shoes don’t match! One is red and one is blue. One is bigger than the other shoe. Oh, no! Oh, no! One is high and one is low. One is bigger, it shows my toe. One is big and one is small. One is bigger than the rest of all.

3 Mrs Grindy's Shoes

4 Mrs Grindy was tired of her shoes.
(wanted / did not want) She went to the shop for some new ones.

5 “You’ve come to the right place,” said the saleswoman.
“I’ve got hundreds of shoes. I’ll find the shoes that are right for you.” (good)

6 “Left and right,” said Mrs Grindy.

7 “How about these red shoes? You would look good in red.”
“I don’t like red,” said Mrs Grindy.

8 “Well, how about these blue shoes? Blue is your colour.”
“I don’t like blue,” said Mrs Grindy.

9 “Look!” said the saleswoman.
“These shoes have no toes and no heels. They’re the latest fashion.” “My feet would get cold,” said Mrs Grindy.

10 “For cold feet, you should try furry boots,” said the saleswoman.
“I don’t like furry boots,” said Mrs Grindy.

11 “High heels!” said the saleswoman.
“Too high!” said the saleswoman. “Flat heels!” said the saleswoman. “Too flat!” said the saleswoman.

12 The saleswoman kept on bringing out shoes
The saleswoman kept on bringing out shoes. Mrs Grindy kept on trying them. There hundreds of shoes on the floor of the shop.

13 At last Mrs Grindy found some shoes she liked.

14 “These are the ones. They’re the right colour. They look right
“These are the ones! They’re the right colour. They look right. They feel right. I’ll take them!” “Oh, Mrs Grindy!” cried the saleswoman. “Those are the old shoes you were wearing when you came in here.”
