Fig 4 Kaplan-Meier survival curves and valve-related event-free survival curves. No significant survival difference was observed between the aortic valve replacement (AVR) and double valve replacement (DVR) groups (A). The survival of patients with a 20-mm Medtronic Hall (MH) valve in the aortic position was not significantly lower than that of patients with a larger valve (B). Valve-related event-free survival was significantly greater for patients who underwent aortic valve replacement than for those who underwent double valve replacement (C). Valve-related event-free survival was significantly lower for patients with a 20-mm Medtronic Hall valve than for those with a larger Medtronic Hall valve (D).
