7 War at Sea The War at Sea was strategic- material coming from colonies to the home countries (Canada to Britain) British Navy was superior to German, however the Germans had perfected a very dangerous Naval Weapon- U-Boats Submarine warfare- destroy merchant ships Convoy system Sinking of the Lusitania 1915
