Figure 1 Up-regulation of CD147 in ovarian ectopic endometrium compared with normal endometrium. Expression levels of CD147 were determined by real-time PCR. Representative chart showing the expression level of CD147 in ectopic endometrium (n = 60) and normal endometrium (n = 16). ∗∗∗P<.001. Figure 2 Migration in HESs cells was inhibited by CD147 neutralizing antibody. (A) Representative photographs of treated and untreated HESs cells are presented (×10 magnification). Cells were treated with 10 μg/mL of mouse anti-CD147 antibody or normal mouse IgG for 24 hours. (B) Statistical analysis of migration ability of HESs cells. Values represent the mean ± SEM. ∗∗∗P<.001. Fertility and Sterility , e1DOI: ( /j.fertnstert ) Copyright © 2014 American Society for Reproductive Medicine Terms and Conditions

Figure 4 Anti-CD147 treatment induces apoptosis of HESs cells. (A) MTS assay showed that time-dependent inhibition of HESs cell viability was observed at a concentration of 10 μg/mL anti-CD147 antibody. ∗∗∗P<.001 vs. IgG control. (B) Western blot analysis of activation of apoptotic factor induced by anti-CD147 treatment in HESs cells. Bax, cleaved caspase 3, and its downstream effector (cleaved PARP) were increased in the anti-CD147 treated cells, whereas the expression of full-length caspase 3 was not altered, with β-tubulin used as loading control. Corresponding statistical analysis (∗P<.05 vs. blank and IgG control); the experiments were repeated three times. Values represent mean ± SEM.
