Vordingborg Gymnasium & HF is situated about 90 kilometres south of Copenhagen in a small town of about 10,000 inhabitants. Our students come from quite a large area; some of them live about 50 kilometres from the school. We live in a rural part of Denmark, and the sea is never more than a few kilometres away.
We have about 600 students aged Most of them are taking a 3-year general upper secondary course qualifying them for university. About 100 students are taking a 2-year course, which qualifies for a number of medium-length educations and could also lead to university.
The teaching staff consists of about 65 teachers who are all university graduates.
