We know education can positively impact the lives of Texans particularly students who experience foster care
We began a pilot program in funded by a $100,000 grant from the Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation

3. Program Outcomes
Four students have graduate and 100% have pursued graduate school
Students reported a sense of community and identity
Retention rate is 65% after three years
Hosted over 300 foster youth who were currently in high school

Frequently scheduled career counseling appointments
Goal setting
1 on 1 mentoring and coaching in conjunction with group meetings

Encourage state mandated contact person at each institution to become involved
