Cathode – loss of positive ions (leaves behind negative ions) Excess ions in the solution are neutralized by the ions of the salt bridge allowing the redox reaction to continue

What is the line notation? If you are not given the form of something - copper (I) or copper (II) – look at the Periodic Table and use the most common type
