2 3 types of tectonic plate boundaries:
Convergent boundaries – two tectonic plates collide or crash into each other Mountains, volcanoes, strong earthquakes, subduction zones, and trenches can be created at convergent boundaries

3 2. Divergent boundaries – two tectonic plates spread apart
Mid-ocean ridges, underwater mountains, underwater volcanoes, and very weak earthquakes are created at divergent boundaries

4 3. Transform boundaries – two tectonic plates slide past each other
Weak and moderate strength earthquakes are created at transform boundaries The San Andreas Fault is located at a transform boundary
