2. Elders Service Center (CSA)
The Service Centre for the Elderly is a body of independent management of L’Aquila established by the Municipality City Council resolution no. 10 of 2 February 1995 under the provisions of Law 142/90, as subsequently amended by Legislative Decree no. 267/2000 (TUEL).
The Centre was created to promote, organize and manage social services in favor of citizens with more than sixty five years older.

3. Who are our partners
The C.S.A. cooperates with other stakeholders (universities and other public institutions) to design and implement new initiatives for the promotion and protection of citizens' rights, exploitation of the Third Sector;
The synergistic relationship with other public institutions, has allowed the recovery of the financial resources needed to implement the Protected Residence for Seniors, socio-medical character, which currently houses no. 40 dependent people.

5. Home Care Service S.A.D.  
The S.A.D. is aimed at combating exclusion and isolation of the elderly people, encouraging their permanence within their family and social environment.
Through the adoption of appropriate needs assessment tools, the service is intended to ensure the older person interventions to maintain loving relationships, family and social conditions necessary to live independently and to strengthen its management resources.

6. S.A.D. Home Care Service  
To access the service, the taking charge of elderly person home care refers to home care assistants on the basis of personalized intervention plan drafted by the Social Vocational Services, after an analysis and evaluation of the needs in terms of social problems and the degree of autonomy Elder.

7. S.A.D. Home Care Service  
SAD service is addressed to senior citizens over sixty-five years, in a state of unease, residents in the territory of the Municipality of L'Aquila.
The social assistance benefits are characterized by the temporary nature, the complementarity and subsidiarity. The social assistance benefits support the resources available at the family and the elderly social network.

8. S.A.D. Home Care Service
Performance mainly concern the essential levels of care:
support and personal care;
help manage the home life;
assistance to promote self-sufficiency in the activity daily;
assistance to human relationships;
social secretary;
transport.

9. Integrated home care (ADI) to elderly not self-sufficient
This type of assistance, has as specific objective the protection of global health (mental and physical-social) the elderly, particularly of the elderly "fragile".
The service is aimed at avoiding improper hospitalization and to maintain in their living environment dependent persons or recent hospital discharge, by home delivery of social care and health services (medical or specialist care, nursing, rehabilitation).

10. Integrated home care (ADI) to elderly not self-sufficient
ADI service is addressed to senior citizens over sixty-five years, in a state of unease, residents in the territory of the Municipality of L'Aquila;
The 'Interinstitutional-multidisciplinary Structure (ASL-Institution CSA) responsible for the assessment of the health and social needs of users, decide the activation of the home care through the provision of interventions and services in an integrated form of social and health nature together with professionals ASL (Local Health Authority).

11. ADI is activated, both for health interventions that social :
terminal patients;
patients with severe peripheral arterial disease ;
patients with diseases progressively debilitating and require complex operations;
Chronic sufferers prone to frequent exacerbations of their disease;
patients with vascular accidents that need rehabilitation;
patients with fractures;
patients with resignation protected by hospitals;
Patients that need rehabilitation in neurolesi.

12. Helpline / Teleservice
Activities aimed at ensuring a distance protection, both with the ready availability to receive reports from users in case of emergency,both contacts programmed with the assisted. Is realized through the activation of a on-line assistance service and / or home telephone and connects with the emergency services and social and first aid.

14. Assegno di Cura  
The care allowance is an economic support in order to integrate the economic resources, and is subject to the availability of the household to ensure permanence, ie the continuity of the dependent person in the environment of belonging, avoiding admissions residential structures.

15. Assegno Vita Indipendente
The allowance is an economic benefit activated on demand and aimed at the independent life of dependent people, through which the person in self-managed form, use the social assistance services.

16. Assegno Disabilità Gravissima
The allowance is intended for people who are suffering from serious illnesses, who need ongoing support at home and monitoring during the day with the impairment of respiratory, nutritional functions, the state of consciousness, devoid of motor autonomy. People who need vigilant care by third person to ensure the physical and mental integrity.
The allowance is activated on request, in favor the families and is aimed at integrating the economic resources necessary to ensure the continuity of the person in a very serious condition disability and ensure the permanence of assistance to the dependent person, in 'belong environment, avoiding admissions to residential / hospitals.
