There are currently nearly half a million international students at UK universities, with over 125,000 of them [c5% of the total population] from EU countries.
16% of academic staff at UK universities are from EU countries
In 2014/15 UK Universities attracted over £836 million in research grants and contracts from EU sources. This represented 14.2% of all income from research grants and contracts in that year.
