1. Ballast Dust - a reminder!
You must present your RPE at SAC sign-in
Always wear gloves on site
Always change out of PPE before getting in your vehicle

2. SAFETY: Dust Protection
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
Wear the FFP3 mask you were face fitted with.
If the FFP3 mask you were fitted with is no longer available contact your employer/ depot and ask to be re-face fitted.
Take spare masks with you to site.
If you are running low order more in advance of your shift
Depots will be gradually standardising the types available to get down to just two types of disposable mask making it more practical to provide spares on site that staff have been fitted with. 

3. Ballast Dust – Goatee Beard or Moustache
FFP3 users:
If you have a small goatee or moustache you must have been face fit tested with this and have been able to achieve a seal with the mask.
