5. Activity- Something Bad About Something Good
A student names something good in school, at home, or in life in general.
The next person in the circle says, “Yes, but something bad about that is…” describing something bad about what the person has stated.
The next person says, “Yes, but something good about that is…” describing something good about what the second person stated.
This continues around the circle as students alternately describe something good or bad.
Example:
Something good is that we have pizza for lunch today.
Yes, but something bad is that it’s not Papa Johns.
Yes, but something good is that it’s better than the chicken nuggets.
