A mechanism for change in populations. Occurs when organisms with favorable traits survive, reproduce and pass on their traits.

6. Mimicry
An adaptation that makes a species look like a more formidable one.

An adaptation that enables an organism to blend in with their surroundings.

Physical structures with a common evolutionary origin.

Physical structures that have the same purpose, but different origins.

In this lab we will see why diversity in a species is so beneficial and how it is necessary for the process of natural selection and evolution.
This lab will also show how species are intertwined and can affect one another.
