1 Teamwork and Cooperation Wrap-Up
Today, we will wrap up the cooperation pillar. A pillar is what holds up something and keeps it strong. Cooperation and working as a team help keep our classroom communities strong and function

2 Learning Targets: I can review and reflect on my teamwork and cooperation lessons I can identify what type of role I tend to fill in group work. I can identify the strengths and challenges I bring to a group activity

3 Always Do Your BEST+ Need to be Responsible=
TEAMWORK and COOPERATION!!!

4 Think back to when we FIRST started talking about Cooperation and team work. Do you remember what you chose as your strengths and weaknesses when it came to working in a group? Try to find your notecard where you recorded what you add to group work and cooperation. If you can’t find your original notecard, note what strengths you thought about from the original list below What strengths and weaknesses did you observe in yourself while doing the Pathway Challenge, Pass the Cards, and the Marshmallow Challenge? Turn to a partner and share out with your classmate .

5 Think about our FIRST cooperation video
Think about our FIRST cooperation video. Do you remember the men going over the wall? Which type of role did you find yourself playing the most in our past three activities? ( Pathway Challenge, Pass the Cards, Marshmallow Challenge) 1. The TEAM LEADER/FACILITATOR and his Heavyweights went over first: Powerful; they needed help to get to their positions, but once they were on top of the wall, they were able to pull the others over, and made sure all got over safely. 2. Supporters/Encouragers went next: They remembered to bring the materials that the entire team would need once they were over the wall. Then they continued to help the others as needed. 3. Organizers/Elaborators went next: They made sure that all of the necessary tasks got done and used innovative methods to make sure that each of them got up and over the wall safely. 4. Problem solver /Checker went last: He was a nimble soldier who could think and move quickly. He made sure everything was done and nothing was left behind before he went over last

6 Marshmallow Challenge
Group Work Challenges Marshmallow Challenge With a partner, talk about the two different challenges we did involving a group. Compare your task in the Marshmallow Challenge to your task in the Pass the Cards Challenge. Which one was an easier task for your group? Why? What role did you play in each? ( leader, organizer, supporter, or problem solver?) Pass the Cards

7 Check out this inspirational video on Teamwork
