The CBGM has since been extended to include many of the overlay areas where, by the use of a flexible composite pavement alongside the existing and by cold planing the existing to either the underside of the pavement or the underside of the bituminous surfacing, we have been able to provide a cost effective, easily constructed pavement that gives the best option for good productivity, quality and ease of working. *
