Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ Spiritual Warfare

4. Spiritual Warfare Be Positive
Positive minds produce positive lives. Negative minds produce negative lives. Positive thoughts are always full of faith and hope. Negative thoughts are always full of fear and doubt.
… it shall be done for you as you have believed … Mat 8:13
Proverbs 27:3

5. Spiritual Warfare
Some people are afraid to hope because they have been hurt so much in life. They have had so many disappointments, they don’t think they can face the pain of another one.
Therefore, they refuse to hope so they won’t be disappointed.

6. Spiritual Warfare
This avoidance of hope is a type of protection against being hurt. Disappointment hurts!
So rather than be hurt again, many people simply refuse to hope or to believe that anything good will ever happen to them. This type of behavior sets, a negative lifestyle.
Everything becomes negative because the thoughts are negative. Remember Proverbs 23:7: For as he (a person) thinks in his heart, so is he….

7. Spiritual Warfare
This doesn’t mean that you and I can get anything we want by just thinking about it. God has a perfect plan for each of us. We can’t control Him with our thoughts and words. But, we must think and speak in agreement with His will and plan for us.
I believe that it is a choice, you can have either:
a positive mind
a negative mind

8. Spiritual Warfare
Positive people don’t see what negative people see, they see two different pictures.
Let us look at 1 Sam 17:
How many times does David mention the giant?
How many times does David mention God?

9. Spiritual Warfare David was God focused and not giant focused!
Should you and I adopt a David’s mentality?
Be positive
Expect a miracle in your life
Expect good things
