2. Ballad Slam Competition!
In groups, you are all going to take part in a ballad SLAM competition, where each group will perform one of the three ballads that we have explored during the unit. In your groups, you need to discuss and decide how you will use the following for effect:
a) Voice – volume, speed, accents, tone…
b) Body – movement, gestures, faces…
to make your performance interesting.
You need to decide who’s reading what and who’s acting what out BEFORE you can begin rehearsing! There will be a prize for the best group performance!
