2. Medication ordered in CHCS shows up in AHLTA

3. In CHCS, access the ORE menu

4. Find the patient that you need to cancel the order on.

5. If the order is associated with a current encounter, select the encounter that it is associated with. You can also cancel any order that was ordered whether it was associated with an encounter or not.

6. To view all order, enter DPOL as the action.

7. Action = Cancel Order

8. Select the order that you need to cancel
Select the order that you need to cancel. In this example it would be the RX – Tylenol #3. (to select use the end key on your keyboard)

9. Type a cancellation comment, enter and enter again

10. To verify the order is cancelled, type cancel and you should see this message. (you can also go to the A/P and the order should be gone)

11. To cancel an order that was ordered in AHLTA, navigate to the order tab, show orders, highlight and discontinue the order.

12. Cancels order
