Organize information sharing meetings with key ECD and ECE Government stake holders to increase member knowledge of updates at National level. For example from REB on ECE and from MIGEPROF on draft Revised ECD policy Implementation Plan

4. Key Advocacy messages for JRES
Continued advocacy for Salaries of Pre- Primary teachers and ECCD Care givers
Inclusion of Parenting Education as a strong ECE component for linking Home and School
Strengthening Pre- service education
Free access to Pre-Primary services for the poor and marginalised

5. Key updates and up coming activities in the ECD/ECE Sector
Evaluation of New Curriculum Materials including Pre- Primary Materials
Teacher training through cascade model
Validation of the draft revised ECD Policy Implementation Plan by MIGEPROF. Implementation plan has 4 pillars:
1.Parenting Education and Support
2. School readiness and transition
3. Child Protection and Family Promotion
4. Co-ordination, governance, resourcing, monitoring and evaluation

ECE Costing study ; One of the Key finding -the budget allocated to pre-primary is 0.9% of the education budget
