conscience Objective to God

4 The Human Condition God Evil spiritual Forces
Destructive Self-serving God Subject of goodness Good mind Heart and conscience Evil mind Selfish mind Objective to God Objective to Evil There is Contradiction - a battle in the mind of each person - which manifests as self-destructive behaviour and conflict in our relationships

5 Making good conditions
If you are swimming up stream you need constant effort to go forward “Love and honour my church and community by giving of myself in service to others and by participating in activities.” (Il Shim Pledge point 3.) Generate vitality by activity and care (e.g. WAIT, Youth Service, An Shi Il “living for the sake of others”)

6 Expect Opposition or Negativity
Why? Because we are living in Satan’s environment where there are lots of bad habits Don’t let your boat have a hole Repair any holes you find by developing good habits

7 Dedicate, Love and be Patient
Why? Because people are afraid of new things They need a lot of love because they’ve been hurt and betrayed by evil Be gentle and serve before you teach Practice before you tell others what to do “All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.”   Arthur Schopenhauer

8 What does it mean to ‘take ownership’ ?
Be personal In friendship In your relationship with God In your faith In being the best at what you do “ Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with all your might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your object. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm. ” Ralph Waldo Emerson

9 To be pure is to be 100% natural
Live your life as God intended it to be lived
