7 For plants: Especially C, H, N, O, P, and S! These are elements that are building blocks for biomolecules! Synthesis of proteins, nucleic acids, and carbohydrates!

12 Where do the essential elements in the SOIL come from?!?!
Erosion of rocks, lightning, decomposition of plants and animals, runoff from fertilizers – human waste, etc, emissions from industry and cars - That’s what we will be talking about the next couple of weeks!

13 Master 1.7 – Food Labels 1. Use the iPad to find a food that you often eat (either every day or at least a couple times a week) 2. Complete the table according to instructions! Be sure to write down what food you are doing!
