3 General Revenue used in the FEFP totals $7,750,817,167, compared to $7,696,013,962 included in the prior year – VETOED Original bill increased per student funding $24.49. The new proposal added approximately $75 per student to get to $100. Not every district will wind up with an increase over FY of $100 per student. Special Session 2017 A FEFP approved by Governor on 06/26/17 HB 7069 appropriates a total of $413,950,000 of that number: $233,950,000 for Best and Brightest Teachers and Principals $30,000,000 for Gardiner Scholarships $15,000,000 for provisions related to statewide assessments The $135,000,000 remaining will fund all other provisions in the bill (including Schools of Hope) Budget highlights
