AGGREGATE GOALS: EXISTING BUILDINGS & INFRASTRUCTURE ENERGY USE WATER USE TRANSPORTATION EMISSIONS A minimum 20% reduction below the National Average by 2020, with incremental targets, reaching 50% reduction by 2030. AGGREGATE GOALS: NEW BUILDINGS AND INFRASTRUCTURE Immediate 50% reduction below the national average, reaching Carbon Neutrality by 2030.

8 Tracking & Measurement
Goals are aggregate for the District – we do not evaluate individual buildings. District energy goals are measured against CBECS 2003 in Portfolio Manager. Measurement methodologies are guided by the National 2030 Network. Water methodology will be developed in consultation with local and national experts. The initiative encourages individual buildings to track and evaluate their own energy and water usage. Mentoring, peer-to-peer, to understand benefits of tracking.

9 Benefits Collaboration encourages action.
PERFORMANCE Benefits Collaboration encourages action. Efficient buildings deliver higher rents, higher occupancy and less frequent turnover. Showcase and share expertise and experience. Expand your network of local industry stakeholders. Demonstrate thought leadership and increase your contribution to the community. Conserve important natural resources. NETWORK LEADERSHIP LEARNING
