2 Aim One: Use a Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) process to develop a Tribal Research Team (TRT), overseeing all aspects of the RezRIDERS Project. 3 Snowboarding & Core Values: 3-Days (Pride, Purpose, Responsibility) Mentors initiated program by identifying adult TRT core values - each value will be discussed and emphasized during daylong snowboard sessions. Identified core values will be integrated into the full program version, and reinforced through Community Action Projects (CAPs). White Water Rafting & Optimism: 1-Day Provides environments that promote autonomy, competence, and connection. Stimulates learning and promotes optimistic thinking. River obstacles resemble life challenges, where mastery of river currents (navigation) on raft offers experiential education opportunity. With youth, mentors will tie the experience to CAPs.
