One hour long consultations
Diagnosis, formulation, assessing risk and management plan.
Home visits
Working within MDT
Conditions including:
Borderline personality disorder
Bipolar affective disorder
Severe depression with psychosis (nihilistic delusions)
Anti-social personality disorder
CBT sessions

5. Positives Constant one to one supervision by the consultant
Well supported
Lots of CBDs
Clinical supervisor sitting in on consultation
Opportunity to present in educational meeting
Audit
Annual leave when needed

6. Difficulties Unclear role No room to consult at times
Not able to prescribe
Far from the hospital
Travelling back and forth for compulsory teaching
Isolating
No other juniors within the team
