2 Colorado Kids Colorado Medicaid provides health coverage for 540,000 children and 260,000 parents. Research has clearly documented the life circumstances that can promote or inhibit a healthy and economically stable families. A two generation approach that supports children and parents together, as a unit and as part of a community, is critical to our success. 1/1/2019

3 Colorado Opportunity Project
The Need: Many Coloradans face roadblocks that keep them from having the opportunity to be healthy, economically-secure members of society. What We Do: The Colorado Opportunity Project is taking a prevention-based approach to identify and remove these roadblocks so that Coloradans can succeed across the life-span. Creating pathways to economic self-sufficiency Opportunity project removes roadblocks along the pathway to economic self-sufficiency Better coordination of services, data sharing, and funding Evidence-based interventions to improve indicators through interventions.
