Any favorite or gallery-worthy image could be use instead, but the header should stay subtle. "Atmo" logo in upper left corner could be animated like the attached flash movie sample, using real time data. Similar illustrations to the "Our Weather Products" illustration can be drafted for Faculty, Students, Contact, etc., and will likely appear on the main page.
The illustration is of a few boxes meant to look like software packaging with loose representations of some of the visualization applets/images available.
