2. Writing Directions
Without the use of any mapping program, you and your partner will write directions for the local business or park below. Your starting point will be the high school. Use directions and descriptions as needed. You cannot use part of the place in your directions. When everyone is finished, you and your partner will read your directions and as a class try to figure out where you directed us.
You and your partner will turn in your directions at the end of all the presentations. Your grade will be based on how complete and clear your directions were and whether the class figured out where you were going.

3. Writing Directions Please write directions to: Alcoa
Turn right out of the west parking lot.
Follow Belmont road around the corner and continue until it dead ends.
Turn right onto Valley Drive and follow that around a left hand curve until it the stop sign at Hwy 67.
Turn right and go through 1 light where the Riverdale Fire Station sits on the north west side of the road.
At the second light, take a left into a massive parking lot that is ¼ to ½ mile long.
Park and go into the enormous, gray manufacturing plant that produces aluminum.
