The stipend is $100 for each full day of participation. Meals, snacks and travel reimbursement are provided.

12 Evaluation of our activities is required by NSF.

13 A major goal of AMSP is to improve
K-12 mathematics and science achievement. To this end implementation in your classrooms and participation in the mentored implementation program in are required.

14 All participants must have classrooms to implement during 2005-2006 and be committed to do so.

15 AMSP will provide each teacher with materials and support for implementation.

16 You will be able to adapt many institute activities for inclusion into your instruction. Some institute activities will be just for you. Obviously you make the decision for your classroom.

17 More information on the peer mentoring program to support implementation will be provided later in the institute.

18 You are partners and AMSP can’t succeed without your contribution.
We look forward to working with you this summer and beyond! ENJOY!
