Fresh and saltwater
Aquatic plants
Around 3 ft. deep
Migrate in winter
Deeper and warmer water

Sometimes eat fish out of nets
Will eat acorns off hanging trees
Eat plants at bottom, middle and top of water ↑
Yummy lettuce! My favorite!

6. Endangered First endangered in 1973
Every year, 37 manatees die from boats
Climate can kill manatees
Recent data suggests 4,831 manatees are still alive
Manatees will become extinct without our help and protection!
