2. What is a Compére
A Compére not only involves steering the show smoothly to a memorable finish, but also to keep the audience informed and interested till the very end. Being associated with a large number of events in a variety of disciplines while pursuing my PG Diploma in Event Mgmt only made me realize how important a good host is for the success of any event.
Hosting shows has been a passion since my childhood where I began with the local society Ganesh Festivals and simple things like reading the prayers in the school assembly. Then came hosting school and college functions, family weddings and parties.
I slowly moved on to birthday parties and entertainment events. Over the years, I have built the confidence to host shows of any caliber, category and class. I now specialize in Corporate, Entertainment and Fashion events.
I am about to live my dream of being a news reader as I start with my first free lance English and Marathi news reading soon.
