The Nuremburg Laws were a set of rules put in place in the late 1930s by the Nazi government in Germany, led by Adolf Hitler. These laws took away Jews’ freedom by forbidding them from doing certain acts. These laws changed life for Jews living in Germany because it took away several freedoms they previously enjoyed, and made Germany a more racist nation as a whole. For example, prior to the Nuremburg Laws, Jews were free to become German citizens. After the laws were put in place, Jews could not gain citizenship. This shows increasingly racist policies from the German government which led to increasingly racist attitudes among German people.
