9 Meditation and hypnosis
*Hypnosis : trancelike state in which a person responds readily to suggestions.

10 Coping with occasional insomnia
Maintain regular bedtime hours; don’t sleep late on weekends. Establish a regular bedtime routine that you follow each night before retiring, such as a warm bath, followed by a little reading or writing a letter.

11 Coping with occasional insomnia
Abstain from drugs. Adjust the temperature of the room if it is too cold or too warm. Avoid foods that may cause sleeplessness. Establish a regular exercise program during the day.

12 Coping with occasional insomnia
Avoid anxious thoughts while in bed. Don’t fight insomnia when it occurs. The old saying “ if I can’t sleep, I mop the kitchen floor” will make sense.
