3. Solving Polynomial Equations
To solve polynomial equations…
Look at the graph/table to see if you can identify a root. If you can, use synthetic division, then continue to find roots.
Factor if you can.
Use the Quadratic Formula when needed.
Some equations can be prime.

2x3 – x2 – 136x = 0
4x4 – 64x2 = 0
2x4 – 3x3 – 3x – 2 = 0

To find a polynomial given its roots, you simply multiply the factors.
